Bina Keshavan, PhD - Guiding the Development of Pharmaceuticals
Bina Keshavan, PhD, is a New Jersey entrepreneur who leads Adagia Pharma Consulting, where she delivers mid- and late-stage program leadership across genetic, metabolic, and neurological disorders. In her role she provides strategic and operational guidance on efforts toward regulatory submission and new drug applications with the USFDA, as well as marketing authorization applications with EU authorities. Bina Keshavan, PhD, actively builds capacities for internal program management in ways that elevate process effectiveness and efficiency.
Dr. Keshavan previously guided Ovid Therapeutics, Inc., as vice president and head of program and portfolio management. Her leadership informed the development of corporate and program goals, as well as the process of portfolio review. She facilitated an alliance between her firm and Takeda in the area of developmental epilepsies, and drove development of a late-stage Angelman syndrome product.
Dr. Keshavan’s professional experience includes 15 years with Biogen, Inc., in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Rising to positions as head of external scientific communications and senior director of medical affairs, she guided more than two dozen members in areas such as patient engagement, congress management, and digital communications.
